RunInstaller for Linux problem

Hi,

I'm trying to install oracle 8i relase 3 on RH 7.1. When I run ./RunInstaller from the CDROM, I got the error:

Initializing Java Virtual Machine from ../stage/Components/oracle.swd.jre/1.1.8/1/DataFiles/Expanded/linux/bin/jre. Please wait... /mnt/cdrom/stage/Components/oracle.swd.jre/1.1.8/1/DataFiles/Expanded/linux/bin/linux/native_threads/jre: error while loading shared libraries: /mnt/cdrom/stage/Components/oracle.swd.jre/1.1.8/1/DataFiles/Expanded/linux/lib/linux/native_threads/libjava.so: unexpected reloc type 0x50
