Oracle 8.1.7 Instance not available

I installed Oracle 8.1.7 Standard-Edition on my notebook. It works fine, the services and the instance is started during startup.

But suddenly the services are running but the instance is not started! I can do that manually using sys but not with internal, because I do not know the password. During installation I was not requested for a password.

Now how can I manage, that the instance is staretd automatically again? (Without reinstalling)
