Funny you should say that, especially since SQL Server is really Sybase from years ago - SYbase licensed their code base & source to Gates in the early 90's and then MS 'value added' it.

Now that Informix is really the 13th variant of DB2 (wonder what they'll call it? DB2/I or maybe DB2/IEEEEEEE-aaaa-aaargh) that cuts the field even more.
