You don't give much info - which version of Oracle etc. This can be the NLS_LANG problem, where a numeric field contains a comma (German version). Either use the 8.0.5.0 client with MS ODBC for Oracle (MDAC 2.1) or the Oracle ODBC Driver version 8.1.6.2 or 8.1.7.
