Oracle 8i install on Solaris device busy on CD2

Hi,

Does anyone have an answer to this problem.

Installing Oracle 8i Enterprise or Standard edition. All parameters set, accounts created correctly, run the oracle installer and ....

At the point when the installer asks for the second CD the CD tray will not eject
with the message that the device is busy.

It has been mentioned to kill off "vold" and then eject .... causes errors.

The only method is to force the tray open which then hangs the machine and requires
a reboot or kill off the install and hey presto back to the beginning.

Any help much appreciated.
