Installation problem Oracle 9i AS Portal on SuSe 7.0

Hi ,

i installed Oracle 8i on my Linux Suse 7.0 (2.2.16) it works well. But the installation procedure of Oracle Portal Oracle AS 9i brings up the following
error:

at installation STEP 6:installWWV wwvinss.sql

            create or replace type wwa_api_module
            *
            ERROR at line 1:
            ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [15456],
[WWA_API_MODULE], [13],
            [7], [tdo generation], [], [], []
            ORA-04031: unable to allocate 16396 bytes of shared memory

("large
pool","unknown object","koh-kghu sessi","kopo object") ERROR: ORA-04031: unable to allocate 1936 bytes of shared memory
("large
pool","unknown object","session heap","frame segment") Type created. ERROR: ORA-04031: unable to allocate 1936 bytes of shared memory
("large
pool","unknown object","session heap","frame segment")

after that error many other errors comes up and finally the system (portal) doesnt work.

the current shmmax parameter is set by ( it is a 512 MB / 1Ghz Pentium III system)

    echo 21474783647 > /proc/sys/kernel/shmmax

Any kind of hints is highly appreciated and many thanks in advance!
