Hi all,

I've been tasked with figuring out how to provide a single sign-on capability for the Oracle Financials (version 11i) applications. The basic idea is that the user would authenticate once with some central authority (written and maintained by my company) and from there launch any of the Oracle Financials applications without having to re-authenticate for that specific application. From what I have been able to gather so far the key is to figure out some way to get the Java applet, jInitiator, to accept the authentication information (username and password) and bypass the initial logon screen.

Is this a reasonable approach to solving the problem ? Does anybody out there have any sort of experience with this kind of thing ? I'd be happy with a pointer to some relevant resources . . .
