Scripts to create new database

Hi,


I always create new database with DBASSIST in Linux or invoke Database 
Configuration Assistant in NT. Does somebody can tell me other ways to run 
some scripts to create new database instead of invoking DBA assist screen? 
and where I can find those scripts?
