If you don't use 8.1.7 or can't use Oracle migration tools try simple and powerful tool at www.ispirer.com/chyfo.html It converts MS SQL tables into a text file (CSV, TAB delimited, fixed length), generates native CREATE TABLE scripts for Oracle and control files for SQLLoader.
You should run generated scripts only. Tool provides very simple and powerful way to migrate data.
