upgrade

We are considering upgrading from Oracle 8.1.6 to 8.1.7 My company has asked me to look into the impact analysis.

I have experience in database *programming*, and that is mainly in Informix. I haven't really done much of this database management stuff before.I don't know where to begin. Can anyone suggest a good source of information.
