Oracle Internet Director -ldifwrite

I have an oracle internet directory question. When i export the the tree, it will export the users like it's suppose to, but when i do an ldiffadd it will take the userpassword atribute value pair (which is encrypted) and encrypt that value when it's added. I am kinda clueless. The data is coming from one OID and going into another OID. Is there a flag or something i need to set that will not encrpty the encrpted password again.
