Newbe Personal Oracle 8i Windows

Hi. I just tried to install personal oracle 8i for win98 with 128mb ram.

1. The network configuration assistant failed with an error message: class not found: oracle\ora81\network\jlib see below.

after install the configuration assistants cannot be launched.

2) i attempted to start the sample database with user po8 with password po8 but always
get the messages ora1031 and ora1034 cannot logon to database and oracle not available.

what went wrong, how to fix?
