I teach the Oracle Education Classes at the University of Washington and can tell you from my student's experiences that Windows ME is barely compatible with Intel architecture.

No one has gotten ME to run any version of Oracle well and all have abandoned it and gone back to NT 4 or up to the Win2000 Professional or Enterprise.

As usual ... one should pretty much wait until version 3 of anything from Microsoft before using it. <g>
