Hi Forrest

When I started learning Oracle I bought 'Oracle: The Complete Reference' by George Koch. It's now called 'Oracle8: The Complete Reference' by George Koch & Kevin Loney and whilst it's bigger (and more expensive) it's still essentially the same book.
There's a lot of good stuff about relational theory and SQL and unlike a lot of books that are suitable for beginners it will still be useful when you're an Oracle expert.

Regards

Nick
