Hi,
As per the mail of <jwaterh> by specifying Windows 95 compatibility string in win.ini, I was able to install the Oracle 8i Client. This means no database on existing system.
Since Windows 95 does not supports Oracle 8i Enterprise Edition.
Is there anybody who can suggest may any solution so that I can Install Oracle 8i Enterprise edition on Windows ME.
As a root cause my actual error was
/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////"There was to problem in accessing the staging area. Please make sure the specified values for ' Source' and ' Destination' are valid"
