I am also facing the same problem in Installing
Oracle 8i on Windows ME.
I tried ur solution by fooling Windows ME, it
works also but It installs the Oracle Client
Version. As Windows 95 does not support Oracle 8i
Enterprise Edition.
Is there any way to set the comatibility string
to indicate Windows NT so that it can can be
installed.
Any way thanks for the excellent hint, but can u
pl. add some more to make it suitable for
Installing Oracle 8i Enterprise Edition.
Thanks a lot and Expecting eagerly for the solution.
