Hello,



I have a problem with Oracle 8.0.6 running on Sun Solaris 7 (5.7).
When I issue a statement creating a bitmap index I get this message:



ORA-00439: feature not enabled: Bit-mapped indexes



Has anyone faced this problem?


What could be wrong? Do I need to patch or extend the installation?
I reinstalled Oracle server but it didn't help.
