Have you ever used PostgreSQL? It's a very nice and very fast database (not that I believe the claim of dusting....)

On a ration note the OBVIOUS problems with the test were: 1. 100 users, big deal. I'd lay money PostgreSQL falls over and dies with 500 users.
2. Small systems, two drives, one processor. Not much of a test of scalability, or anything like a "real" database server I've met recently. 3. They mention performing several optimizations to PostgreSQL, but never mention if they did the equivalent to the other databases. If I "vacuum analyze" my PostgreSQL DB after loading the data, and load the same data in Informix, but don't "update statistics" I can tell you right away whose going to win.
4. You can't backup PostgreSQL without taking the database offline, which definitely takes it out of the "enterprise ready" catagory.
