Personal 8i on NT

Hello,

I'm trying to reinstall Personal 8i on a Windows 2000 Professional box. I have removed all the old products, deleted the old oracle_home and anything else I can think of. However, when I go to reinstall oracle, the installer "remembers" the old SID and oracle_home directory. Somewhere there is a file (or many), maybe some obscure thing in the system32 directory that has a record of the old oracle_home directory name and SID. I'd like to ring its bloody NT neck (I'm a unix man). Anybody think they might know where such a record file would live on a NT box? I'd like to purge it so I can reinstall Oracle and use the old naming scheme.

Daryl
