Oracle 8.1.6 on RedHat 6.2 Install problem

I'm attempting to install Oracle 8.1.6 on RedHat 6.2. I set up the environment, added the necessary groups and users and also setup correct file permissions on the mount points for the install. When I launch the runInstaller command as the oracle user I get the following:

Has anyone seen this issue. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
