Hi all,

I've to do the following in my project:

The user want's a java-app which he want's to use online with a Oracle 8i DB and offline with a local Oracle Lite DB. Therefore replication is needed between the two databases. Another part of the same project provides a service via java-servlet to the application and every other user in the intranet.

The ideas is to use a iAS for both, replication and AS for the servlet.

We don't have much experience with the Oracle-stuff, so my question is if somebody can tell me his own experience?

Is this the right choice? Will we need other apps (Web to go, etc)?

Any help appreciated
