Well, we usually do a number of other things before we shut the database down, so even the additional service isn't sufficient. However, you have a point. If the poster is simply using a desktop or workstation for a small database, he might just be turning his machine off every night and not worrying about backups or anything else. In that case the SIDservice will suffice.
