Excessive Memory Loss on Sun Solaris using Oracle 805

Hi,


I have a Sun server which is experiencing severe memory loss. The server is
E4500 (4Gb memory) with a 16 Gb database on which has a concurrent User
community of 150 - 250. This is made up of short session ie rapid connect
and disconnects. The SGA is 600 Mb and Oracle version is 80500.
The memory starts off at 2Gb after a cold backup and by lunchtime is down to
600Mb.


O/S is 2.7


Has anyone had this problem and can offer any guidance.
