Default logins for 8i Release 2 under Windows NT

I am having problems using default logins under Oracle 8i Enterprise under Windows NT. I have set the os_authent_prefix to OPS$. I have created a user id under Windows NT and I have creaated the ops$username account with external authentication. Yet, when I log in to NT using the username I created and try to enter:

sqlplus /

I receive an ORA-01004 error.

I've done this hundreds of times under UNIX, but this is the first time I've attempted it on an NT platform. Is there some step I am missing? Received on Sat Sep 02 2000 - 09:10:23 CDT
