Is it possible to install an oratcl that can access
both oracle 7.3.4 and 8.1.6?  What version will
do this?  Any pointers?  README in the oratcl3.0.1 says:



There are some notes about working with Oracle 8.  See the file


        'oracle8.mods'



but this file is not in the distribution.  I get the feeling
that it only works one way or the other since there are
compile flags like --with-oracle-version=<x>
