Re: oracle80.exe Error: Cannot Allocate Log

It means that the database is wanting to write to the next redo log, but it can't as the redo log has not yet been archived since it was last written to. Your problem now is to find out why . If you look in the alert<sid> log you should get some idea of the root cause.
