WEBDB Listener startup problem

Hi,

I have just installed Webdb 2.2 and installed the listener.

I startup the listener as the root user using the following:

wdbstart <hostname> 80 &

After a few seconds the listener dies, with the log file giving a "Fatal error: bind failed"

The wdbsvr.app file appears to have the correct connect string and the database connection functions correctly using the connect string with sqlplus.

Platform:
Oracle 8.1.6
RedHat Linux 6.0
Oracle Webdb 2.2

Any help greatly appreciated.
