If you are using reports 2.5 or later one of the options is mail. I've never used it but I've run into the option several times and also contemplated the idea of using it, but never got around doing it. The requirements are pretty basic, you need a mapi compliant e-mail service and I think you have to set some mail stuff in the oracle side. The basic answer to your question is yes it can be done.
