Pro C/C++ Warnings on Linux

Hi,



Just wondering if those warnings in pro c/c++ (Oracle 8.1.6 on
Linux): "passing const unsigned * into ... ignoring const" are serious.  I
modified the precompiled .c file after running proc to take out the const.
My program still works both ways.
