SQL Loader Question

I have a customer who purchased a COTS application that uses a centralized app server that will pick up files from locations across the US. These files will be ftped to the central server and will use SQL Loader to import. This entire process should not exceed 3 minutes.

My SQL Loader questions:

  1. Can multiple SQL Loader processes execute simultaneously?
  2. If so, how will the table be locked? My concern is that even if multiple SQL Loader processes can be ran concurrently, will the table be updated serially?
  3. If so, will each SQL Loader process create its own error file, or is there a risk of overwriting error records?

thanx!
