Multiple homes with Toad

I run Oracle Client 8.0.5 for my office tasks. This week end, I've install Personal Oracle 8.0.3 in a second home. At some point, it warned me if I wanted the new home to be the default one and I said Y.

I could not run Quest Toad anymore and realized after reading Net8 for Oracle 8 that I cannot have two versions of Net8 if one of my version is less than 8.0.4.

Toad requires SQL*Net ot Net8 to run even with Personal Oracle. I want to remove Personal Oracle, but I can't. Oracle Installer does not run anymore for any of the versions installed.

Question; My default home been Personal Oracle, is it catastrophic to delete it from the registd32. Do I have a chance to recover 8.0.5 ? Received on Mon Jul 10 2000 - 00:00:00 CDT
