Not 100% sure on that one (I'm not a DBA) but I *think* it might in one of the init.ora files. I think if you look in $ORACLE_HOME/dbs (UNIX) and C:\winnt\oracle\dbs (I think (not sure) - NT and Windows (use win95 in place of winnt). Look for some files called init.ora or something like that and you might find it in there.

Can anyone clarify if I'm wrong?
