Thanks for the reply,
I installed PO8 first and then Developer, After the replys about Dev6 has to go into default home I un-installed everything and re-installed and this is when I get the errors that I can't find files for the installation.
So, My partition is being re-formated and NT4 reinstalled. I will then re-install Dev6 into the default home and then PO8 into another home.
My next question is since the default home is c:\orant do I choose the next home like 'c:\orant\ORACLE or should it be c:\ORACLE for the second home? Will the installer choose a second home for me or do I select it?
My PC does not have an ethernet card so I am using the lookback software. I havn't gotten to the point of configuring the TCP/IP as of yet. When and If I get to this point I will let you know of my success or failure.
Thanks
Diane
