Hello All;
I have a simple question that I need some assistance. I am trying to install
Oracle 8.1.6 EE on a Redhat Linux system but have been unable to get the
installer to find the JRE. I have downloaded and extracted the appropriate
JRE and set the JAVA_HOME,CLASSPATH, and PATH. I did a link to the directory
but still get the /bin/jre error.
Does anyone have suggestions on what to try?
