businesses with POS and accounting systems allowing these businesses to
share information with their suppliers, clients and with other outlets. We
are a fast growing company looking for two Database Designers with following
qualifications. we are a public company, We have Stock options and benefits

- Accounting Systems - Senior Designer
This position will require the successful candidate to have knowledge of
Accounting Systems and design. We will expect the successful candidate to
have designed and created Accounts Receivable, Payable or General Ledger
systems. The successful candidate must be confident in leading a team of
programmers. The successful candidate will be expected to work with minimal
supervision.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have a minimum, Bachelor of Commerce or
equally suitable accounting degree or hold the appropriate certification
with an accounting standards body in Canada or the United States. The
successful candidate is required to have three years of relevant programming
or related design experience. Experience with mapping workflow, database
design and data flow mapping is an asset.
2. Senior Designer - General Software
This position will require the successful candidate to have general
knowledge of Accounting Systems and design. We will expect the successful
candidate to have participated in the design of Accounts Receivable, Payable
or General Ledger systems or other financial systems. However, general
design knowledge and the ability to lead a team with different levels of
experience and skills will be the most important criteria. The successful
candidate should be familiar with E-Commerce and related principles -
particularly business-to-business (B2B) systems. We also expect the
successful candidate to work with minimal supervision.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have a minimum, Bachelor of Arts or equally
suitable University degree. The successful candidate is required to have
three years of relevant programming and several years related design
experience. Experience with mapping workflow, database design and data flow
mapping is an asset. Knowledge of Java, Object Oriented Programming,
E-Commerce and financial systems is a definite asset. Knowledge of the
following is essential: database systems, database design tools, creating
flow-charts and process mapping tools.
