I ran exp on an entire database, hoping it would create a dump of "everything" for that database instance. I have two tablespaces: cbr_indexes and cbs_hrpls. Are those exported automatically as well into the dump file? Didn't look like it.
Also, if they are, and I import them into a new database instance, do I need to create the tablespaces first so the dump file knows where to put them? If not, won't it use the paths to the original tablespaces to export the data into, rather than a new copy of the tablespace in a new location for the second database instance? Thanks.
