8.1.6. SQL*Plus environment settings

In 8.1.5 I was able to edit LOGIN.SQL to set default SQL*Plus environment settings, like linesize and pagesize. It looks like LOGIN.SQL is gone in 8.1.6. There is a GLOGIN.SQL, but it doesn't work the same.
Does anyone know that the story is with this? Thanks,
