Sybrand - thank you, I downloaded the updated installer and was able to add sources.

The only problem then was the existing data source names could not be deleted or re configured. This was a big problem as my applications (consisting of MS Access ODBC reading from an Oracle database) are being used throughout my department and everyone was using the datasource name I could no longer use.

The solution was going into the registry and getting rid of the datasource name under the odbc.ini. It worked and I was able to recreate a new data source with the old name I wanted. I was able to figure this out with the help of our local Oracle DBA, who also helped out with the installer as Sybrand did.

If anyone needs details on how to do this in the registry email me - I don't frequent the oracle ng's very much - and I'll post it here.
