   When you look up a 1041 error all you get is a note to call Oracle support. Most of the time this error is the equivalent of an ORA-03113 an abnormal termination in SQL*Net or of ORA-03114 a call to Oracle when no connection was established (usually this happens because a user-written program has not logged on).
