Sander,

Are you thinking that the ODBC (client or server) drivers should have been installed by the Oracle Installer onto the Solaris server? This has never been the case. The ODBC (client) drivers that Oracle ships come with the Win95/98/NT client install. If you want ODBC to be installed on Solaris, you need a 3rd party product such as can be had from Merant.
