Support for 7.3.4 will end at least end of the year, but I have seen a post (should be still on deja) it will end on June 1. Mind you, Oracle 8 has been introduced in 1998, so anyone has had 2 years to upgrade. I know many sites still didn't, and personally I don't understand people are still _starting_ with 7.3.4 projects
