Roel,

PeerDirect Replication Engine (PDRE) replicates database contents on all major database platforms (Oracle, MS, Sybase, Informix, IBM) on servers, laptops, and now palm devices, whether over LAN, WAN, dial-up, or Internet (basically anything TCP/IP).

PDRE automatically encrypts (128-bit Triple-DES government standard) and compresses (typically 4:1 ratio on text data) its transmissions so you don't need a VPN (in theory anyway; Triple-DES hasn't been broken yet as far as we know).

We also allow you to configure your firewall so we can replicate through it at port 242. You can find out more at www.peerdirect.com, or email me directly,

    Kim
