Gateway

I am using the Oracle transparent gateway to Ingres but I find that it is placing a table level lock on the Ingres table that I am reading.

I have set ING_SET="set lockmode session where readlock=nolock" but this is having no effect.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
