Ok I tried it. Both methods work since the registry entries for 8.1.6 still have a pointer to dbs. The other files that used to be in dbs have been moved, without name changes for the most part.

Even though glogin.sql exists and has a number of things preset, SQL*Plus also looks for login.sql if you create one.

Glogin.sql is a better idea since that's the current default.
