Hi Everyone

I have an issue I hope to get resolved soon..I am running SQL*Net clients over the internet to an Oracle DB, going thru a Linux Server, doing IP Forwarding...I have connected 1521 and 1526 and can TNSPING these ports.

When I attempt to connect using SQL*Net I can't...I understand that you initially connect on 1521/1526 and then the listener will tell the client to reconnect on Port ####...my question is to this newsgroup is there away for the listener to give out specific Port numbers?

Thanks
