I'm working on the same problem. Mandrake 7.0 (rel2) and O8 SE. I'm working from the manual downloaded from the O website. I also have the JAN copy
of "Select" that has an article about putting O8 on linux, but it just says "run the script".

If you figure anything out please post the answer.
