You could use several methods to connect to Oracle. If You are using the latest version of VB then you could use OLE DB to make the connection There is an Oracle driver You can use.

You could also use ODBC as the connections source.

My experience is that Oracle Objects for OLE seems to work best for my. I run into some trouble when I was using OLE DB that disappeared when I switched over to oo4o.
