Hi,
I am trying to install Oracle 8.1.6 on Solaris x86, I get through most of the installation, but then several errors pop up, most of them involve makefiles.
one is : "Error in invoking target ntcontab.o of makefile /opt/Orahome1/network/lib/ins_net_client.mk" in the terminal screen where the OUI is running, there are java.io.IOException: Not enough space
errors, the partition has plenty of free space, and I thought it might have been trying to write to the Cd, so I reran the install off of the hard drive, with the same result.
