I moved my oracle 7.32 from a NetWare 4.11 server to a NetWare 5.0
server. Unfortunately, the volume structure was not kept the same. Now
I cannot get the database to start. I receive the message cannot open
the parameter file init.ora. I am assuming that this is because I have
changed the path and it cannot find the correct parameter file. The
listener is running, orarun is ok. Just the database will not start.
Does anyone know of a work around for me?
