Hello,

What kind of linux are you using ?? (Red hat 6.1 ??) if this is the case chack your libc >= 2.1, then it shouldnt be a problem. An other thing .. What kind of version jre are you using ...

I installed 8.1.5 on Debian (potato glibc.2.1 also known as "frozen") with the jre 1.1.6 whithout any problems .
